Melanie Vaughn

Ms. Melanie is the Artistic Director and an Instructor. She has been dancing since the age of 2. She has received over 30 years of training from some of the greatest teachers throughout the U.S. This has given her the opportunity to teach, choreograph and inspire students in her own teaching.

Miss Melanie has won awards at the Regional and National level as both a performer and choreographer. Her choreography is well-known for the intricate details and focus on technique while keeping an upbeat rhythm in all styles of dance. She has trained under prestigious teachers such as Jared Grimes (Broadway Dance Theatre/Broadway),  Gene Medler (NCYTE), UNCSA (Adams, Fox, Han, Pandi, Cordell)

She has attended ballet schools including UNCSA, Miami City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre. She has also performed in multiple conventions, SERBA, as well as professional shows including Dracula, the Nutcracker (where she danced the Snow Queen), and The Tales of Beatrix Potter.

Whenever she is not at the studio, she is choreographing for outside studios, weddings and pageants.
